The dream of the liberti network of churches is to see God renew the metro Philadelphia region in every way by the Gospel of Christ.  A vision this large requires not just a congregation in one place, but a movement of multiplying congregations committed to living, speaking, and serving as the presence of Christ in their particular locale.

One particular way in which God seems to be opening the door for liberti to pursue the mission of Christ is by starting a location in the mainline suburbs of the city.

God is graciously flourishing liberti church in center city Philadelphia.  Through its history, the relationship between center city and mainline Philadelphia has been one of both cultural proximity and geographical distance.  On the one hand, there is great cultural similarity between the worldview of people who live in both of these places, and often people move back and forth between the two for work and social life.  On the other hand, most of the mainline communities are at least a 20 min. ride by car or by train.

So, we're starting a campus of liberti on the mainline! The leadership of the church prayed toward calling a site pastor for the church, and God provided and blessed us with Mike & Teresa Harder. We are still working and praying towards finding a facility. 

Also, this past fall, a team began gathering to pray for and support the launch of liberti mainline. We'd love to have you pray together with us about this, and help us get the word out with friends who live in that direction.
